Store Shepherd legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains how Store Shepherd handles personal information collected through storeshepherd.com, including pilot requests and ordinary website use.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for this website is Store Shepherd. The final company legal entity, registered address and trade licence are to be confirmed. Until those details are published, privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].
2. Information we collect
- Pilot request information: name, work email, company, number of stores and any optional notes you submit.
- Technical information: basic request, device, browser, security and server log data needed to operate and protect the website.
- Business correspondence: information you provide when we follow up about a pilot or commercial relationship.
Please do not submit CCTV footage, payment information or sensitive personal information through the pilot form.
3. How we use information
- To respond to pilot enquiries and evaluate whether the product fits your operation.
- To communicate about product evaluation, implementation and commercial terms.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Depending on the circumstances, our legal bases may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating a B2B service, consent, and compliance with law.
4. Sharing and service providers
We may use infrastructure, hosting, security, communications and professional-service providers that process information for us under appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, during a corporate transaction, or to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
5. International transfers
Store Shepherd is based in Dubai and may use providers in other countries. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful safeguards for international transfers. Specific transfer details will be confirmed as the operating entity and provider list are finalised.
6. Retention
We retain pilot enquiries and related business correspondence for as long as needed to evaluate the request, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. As a working standard, enquiries that do not progress may be deleted or anonymised within 24 months, unless a longer period is required.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority. Email [email protected] to make a request.
8. Product footage
This website policy does not by itself govern video or incident data processed for a retail customer using the Store Shepherd product. In that context, the retailer generally determines the purpose and lawful basis for processing, while Store Shepherd acts under the customer’s instructions as described in the applicable agreement and Data Processing Addendum.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service and legal structure develop. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page. Contact: [email protected].
